Why does my brand new CD label printer do this?
Why does my brand new CD label printer do this?
I just did two full color labels of photographs and they have vertical lines on them. Could it be the CDs? It is an HP printer but I’m not using HP’s CDs. I am using Memorex. They are completely white and to be printed on. Any suggestions? My test papers look fine, it only happens on CD labels. Thanks.

You need to do a nozzle check/test page. This will tell you if you are getting ink through all your printheads. This is the most likely cause. If your test page shows that all the colors are getting through the printhead, with no missing sections, then move on to a head alignment. But it definitely sounds like a clogged printhead.
