Windows XP Setup Help?
After a couple days of frustration getting my old tablet PC to boot USB, I managed to get it to boot the Windows XP installation files. Unfortunately, when I get to the terms of service agreement, I am prompted to hit F8 which the tablet does not have. It only has a number pad, ENTER, TAB, ESCAPE, and a D-Pad on it. Is there any way to edit the Windows setup files to change the F8 prompt to accept any of these keys?
The computer is from 1999 and is of a strange brand: Intermec Pen*Key 6642 with 160mb RAM installed and 266mhz processor. It unfortunately has no CD, Floppy, or even paralleI ports, just a single USB and something the specs refer to as a “Floppy Port Expander.” I know that this is literally the minimum for XP, but I just want to know how to change the setup files.

you could try to install windows 98 (which is the standard os for this product as I have seen on the net),
and then upgrade to windows xp from the windows98 surface, that usually works at least no F8 is needed then
I would not know how to change the xp setup files to accept other keys than f8, sorry
