wireless internet and digital camera?
recently I got hooked up to ATT’s uverse which includes wireless internet which was new to me. Ever since I got hooked up my computer now will not acknowledge my dgital camera when I hook up the usb cable to transfer my pics. It won’t even acknowledge that I have plugged in a USB cable. This may be crazy but is there any possiblity these things could be connected? I tried my camera on another computer at work and it worked fine . I’m so frustrated. I try to add my camera in the camera and scanner prgram but it tells me to be sure to hhok up my device properly and it can’t detect my camera. I have windows XP.
Best answer:
First talk to ATT … they will know what to do. Most of us use a card reader and don’t even use the camera in the image file transfers

I have no answer to your specific question, but I have some suggestions. The least efficient way to download images from your camera to your computer is to connect your camera directly to the computer using a USB card and the software supplied with your camera.
If your computer has built in flash card readers, use them to read directly from your camera flash card. If your computer does not have built in card readers for your camera, buy a USB card reader that will read your flash card (not very expensive and you can find them at most stores that sell computer supplies. If you are not sure what kind of flash card you have, bring it with you when you buy the reader and ask an employee to sell you the correct card reader. If your camera does not have a removable flash card, you have a toy camera which will never get you a quality photo image. Throw it away and get a real digital camera!
