Wireless printer connection issue?

Wireless printer connection issue?
I just bought i wireless HP photosmart printer scanner. I installed all the software on my pc and have it plugged in. It prints when its connected through USB however when i search for it wirelesly it says device not found. How can i fix this? The printer itself is connected through my router and is in online mode. HELP?!?
