Would let someone put a barcode on you?

Would let someone put a barcode on you?
I ask this question because it seems that barcodes can be used for good. Many bodies are found murdered everyday with no proff of who that person is. If there was barcode on the body to show who this person is most murders might be soved. Now, do you belive the barcode can help all or be nothing but trouble? Would you let yourself be marked?

Best answer:

personally no i am doing just fine on my own thank you, but if people wanna volunteer for that kinda stuff i wont stop them.

I’ve already got fingerprints and DNA which are unique so a barcode might be unnecessary.

One day we will have a chips so when you walk through any door people can identify you. I think that will be scary and possibly be the mark of the beast…

what do you think DNA is? finger prints? those are natures perfect items to realize who is who. barcode is a man made item, man is flawed. nature (G_D) is not.

No thanks. That is losing your identity to the system, and as what I believe to be the mark of the beast.

What happens when the body has become decomposed beyond recognizing the bar code or the chip is lost when the skin decomposes. It will not work.

Nope. Let my body be found, that only means that I am absent from my body, and present with the Lord, why do I care if they cant tell who I am down here, the Lord knows!

Why a barcode? Seems it’d make more sense for everyone to give a DNA sample for a national/international database if you wanted a way to identify people. Barcodes could be removed to disguise who the person was. DNA would be a more logical choice.

I would not allow any type of marking to be placed on my body. There is no need for it. I have finger prints, dental records and DNA.

Personally I would not want a barcode on me.

Why would the barcode not just be erased if you needed it gone. Even if the Idea worked I think hackers would soon have workarounds. I think it would make identity theft faster and harder to prevent. reprogramme a chip or the data base it refers to and you have access to everything. Not a good plan.

What is wrong with the bar code? You folks have already mentioned that you already have distinctive DNA and fingerprints. Also in our society we carry ID cards, Divers license, social security cards, passports. These are all forms of a basic “bar code”. And a bar code would be alot easier to process than DNA. Plus wouldn’t it be pretty easy to ID criminals, child molesters, and even terrorists if they all had bar codes. Just a quick scan and “Oh, sorry you are a child molester, you can’t have the job of school bus driver. Oh sorry, you are a terrorist. You cant get on this plane.” Seems it would make things a lot easier.

That all being said…..I wouldn’t want one.

Whats to stop someone from “removing” the bar code from the person they murdered? I think that being able to identify a person at all times is a good idea, but the bar code wouldn’t work. Too easy to remove. We are all already marked anyway. Just look at your social security card.
