Do these phones from Cricket have the ability to download apps?

The phones I am looking at are the Assend, Zio, and Blackberry. I want to be able to download apps for the phone, especially the barcode one. I was just wondering if it was worth the money for the features I want. Any help would be great! Also they have to be the phones from Cricket.

Does the LG Ally by Verizon have the ability to scan bar codes like the droid does?
I know you can download the app but does it have the actual scanner/capability/ability to use the app?
