i have just bought some ticketmaster concert tickets off ebay. should they have a barcode on?

Yes, they should.. are they a tfast tic, (one someone printed off their home comp)? or are they hard tix? (ACTUAL TIC)
BE CAREFUL WHEN GETTING OFF EBAY, IVE SEEN ALOT OF FAKE TIX. MAKE SURE ITS FROM A REPUTABLE PERSON.

I bought a digital camera from Argos last Saturday?
but during the week it just stopped working – won’t turn on! Have tried different batteries and gone online to the Kodak website troubleshooting thingy.
I am going to take it back to Argos as it’s obviously faulty, but have lost the receipt, plus i paid for it in cash.
I have all the original packaging, plus there’s a ticket thing stuck to the box with the camera’s barcode.
Will I be able to get a replacement or repair done??

can stores keep track of if an item on the floor was bought and returned by its barcode?
so a theft brings up the item to the cashier and said ‘i want to return thing’ would they be able to tell that someone returned it and they got it from the floor just from that store’s sticker on something??
im not a theft, i swear haha

If I bought a barcode scanner for my computer…?
Would I be able to sell my own items? I want to have a garage sale. I have old books, bikes, hunting equipment that I dont need and my son outgrew his baby clothes. So I was planing on selling them. I recently got my own 7 – 11 Store (called the Franchise) and now I get all these gift cards, but I dont have any game systems or play any online games (don’t have time). So I was wondering if I could sell some at my garage sale using a barcode scanner. Is that possible?
I know the store one works after having a couple kids buy some for XBOX’s and Wii Points and stuff like that, but would a home barcode scanner work on gift cards or should I just continue selling the extra’s at the store?

The barcode scanner is just a fast way of getting a code into a computer (or a POS)
Usually on products, the numbers are under the barcode, I am not sure whether that is the case with the gift cards. The barcode scanner may just scan them into the computer (inventory, a line on the cash register) or activate them online. If the numbers are under the barcode, you can also activate them by keying in the numbers.
Just the barcode scanner will not work.
Maybe you can use them as a promotional item to get people to your shop ?

does anyone knows about a webside that tells you when an item was bought by just typing a barcode of an item?
i need to find out in what date and item was boughten by just entering the barcode of it

If I bought something from one store, can I return it to a different one?
I received a Wii for easter and I don’t want it anymore and they bought it at circuit city but there is not a circuit city around here, could I return it to another store like walmrt or target without the receipt and get a gift card or something? Or will the barcode show it was not from their store?

They will never know but it is not honest. It is possible that they may have a record of serial numbers but the return desk would not check that. I have always wondered if they could come back a week later and ask for the money back.

If something with a barcode is stolen can it be tracked to the store that bought it?
I’m not on here for answers that are morally correct. I want to know if say a book was stolen from walmart and the person resold it to a bookbuying company. Can that book be tracked to who walmart?
