I am establishing a new retail business. I will be importing most of my products from overseas.?
The overseas factories asked me to provide them with barcode respective to the items I have ordered. Is it ok if they provide me with their own barcodes or should I generate my own barcodes?. If I rely on their own barcodes, would there be a conflict anytime one day with other products from different countries.
What about the barcode format, I live in Beirut, Lebanon (That in the Middle East) and I order usually my products from China and Europe.

What is the most efficient way to ship dozens of packages per day in a mail order business?
I have a small mail order business and ship between 100-400 packages per week. I am looking for a better option than I use now, PC and small label printer. I recently purchased a Zebra Label printer and thought I might be able to use bar codes to help automatic the input. Any ideas on ways to mail lots of small packages fast?

So i’m going to start my own business.?
So i’m going to start my own business. What i’m looking for is a software program and equipment to where i can have a customer come in, spend like 3 minutes giving me their information. I will then print this to a membership card. Preferably paper with a hard plastic surrounding (like blockbusters does) and give to them. This card will have a barcode on the back and their information on the front. I then want them to be able to come in anytime, be able to just scan their card and pull up all their information. Simply recording their visiting time. Sorry for the long winded explanation. But does anyone know the best software and hardware for what i’m looking for? Thank in advance

What software would you use for a meat processing business?
From billing to order tracking.UPC coding, etc.
They do everthing by hand written orders. There is no way to accurately track the business. I’m aware of microsoft office software. I just wondered if there were any customizable software packages with point of sale.
