BUYING barcode for my music Album do you buy one barcode to use on all copies or?
okay if i buy a barcode for my own album to sell it in stores and online and at shows, do you buy one barcode for copies of the same album, or do you buys as many barcodes for as many copies you make if the album

I make deliveries for a local newspaper and have been driving in the same area every night for the past 430 days. Whenever I see something odd I will call the police but I thought about getting a scanner so I can follow what might be happening in the area so I know what I am driving into or can maybe keep my eye out for those the police might be looking for.
I checked and the lcoal PD allows police scanners. However, where would I find their frequency and what do I need to be looking for in a scanner that would pickup the signal? I see Uniden has several models so how would I know if the model did the same thing the 9 model does?

It is actually pretty easy. Just go down to your local Radio Shack and see which scanner will work in your city. They will know the frequencies too.
There are basically three levels of scanners in the US
Under 0 ones without the 800Mhz band
Over 0 ones with that band
0 ones that can receive digital transmissions.
If your local PD is using a few frequencies in the 450mhz band, you can go with a cheap one.
If your local PD is using a trunked system in the 800 Mhz band your need a bit more expensive one.
If your PD is digital, you’ll have to shell out around 0 to listen.
