Which cell phone should I buy from Verizon?
I either want the BlackBerry Storm or the Droid. I know the Storm can view youtube videos, but can the droid? Also, the droid has an app where you can take a picture of a barcode on a product and find it cheaper in the area you live in. Can the storm do the same? Is that app available on the storm?

What can you do if you think an auto-repairman stole a part from your car?
My boyfriend recently had his car fixed by a friend of a friend and paid cash to have his clutch worked on. Lately, his car has not been running as smoothly as it used to and it is having problems starting. We looked under the hood to see if there was fluid leaking or something like that and noticed that his alternator looked like it had been switched. My boyfriend got a brand new alternator not too long ago and it had a barcode and sticker on the front and looked very new overall. The one that is in his car now is old and completely different looking. He called the guy up and asked about it and the guy denied even touching the alternator. Then we looked again and decided it really is a different alternator, and my boyfriend called again and the guy hung up on him. We are sure that this guy did something to his car…maybe even more than the alternator. Is there anything we can do to bust this guy?

Not unless you can prove it. If you have the paperwork for purchasing the alternator the only thing you can do is report a property theft report with the police. Make sure you have your receipt. The only thing the police can do is go over to the dudes house and look for what matches your reciept if the guy has already hid it or stole it you are just screwed.

If the cash register does not balance is it legal to deduct it from an employee’s wages?
When a cash register is out of balance the employer is deducting the difference from an employee’s pay check. There is no proof why the register is out of balance. Even the employer uses it during the day.

Does fedex charge to pick up an item from you?
I had bought something online but i told them i want to return it. The company sent me a printing fedex label so i can return it. But i don’t have time to go to fedex and return it. If i ask fedex to come pick it up instead, will they charge me? And if so how much? I know usps doesn’t charge but i need to deliver it to a fedex.

I am establishing a new retail business. I will be importing most of my products from overseas.?
The overseas factories asked me to provide them with barcode respective to the items I have ordered. Is it ok if they provide me with their own barcodes or should I generate my own barcodes?. If I rely on their own barcodes, would there be a conflict anytime one day with other products from different countries.
What about the barcode format, I live in Beirut, Lebanon (That in the Middle East) and I order usually my products from China and Europe.

I need help from a fellow Wa-lmart cashier(s)???!!! What do I do about missing UPCs and bar codes?
Ok, so I recently started work as a Wal-mart cashier, and there is just one customer/job dilemma that I have that I’m still unclear about: Merchandise without UPC/bar codes! I know, of course the logical explanation is to call a CSM for assistance. But the majority of my CSMs are less than helpful when it comes to price checks, and rarely respond to action code requests. When I can manage to flag one down usually tell me (and the customer) that there is nothing they can do.
Is there no way to manually enter a price in this instances?
But this doesn’t seem right? Is it REALLY the customer’s fault that the bar code is missing, especially if it is a discontinued or clearance item to which there is no more inventory left? Most of the time, I would say no, it’s not worth the customer being upset. And I 100% understand that bar codes are to keep track of inventory, etc, and I would totally not be comfortable manually entering a price for an item of value based on the customer’s word… but if the item is within reason (under ) like a box of cereal or a stick of deodorant, would it really be worth telling the customer that there is “nothing we can do about it” .
My question is, should I just get over my customer satisfaction and learn how to disappoint my customers, or is there a way to actually key this info myself (without getting fired) for small common items on the rare occasion they come through without a UPC/ bar code?
I appreciate any feedback, I’ve searched all over and just can’t seem to find a definite answer.

So say I had rescued 10 small feeder goldfish from an absolutely disgusting Wal-Mart….?
What would be the best temp housing? Will a ten gallon work for about a week? and what should I buy in the long run? Surprisingly, I’ve never really owned goldfish before so I’m kinda lost. I started out with 11, but one actually DIED while I was waiting in line so I didn’t get charged for him. The rest look/seem fairly healthy though.
I also “rescued” a green(?) male betta with some type of fin rot and ick, but he’s been medicated. It was so sad. They had him on the bottom shelf with his upc bar code almost ripped off. The lady at the register actually gave him to me for half price when she saw that his water was brown and he looked dead. Out of the three bettas on the shelf for sale he was the only one building a bubble nest in his cup though so I figured that HAD to be somewhat of a good sign. Is there anything I can do to possibly make him more comfortable? I have him in a one gallon hospital tank.
lol After I get them (the goldfish) healthy I was going to give them to my little sister as a Christmas gift:]
I’m just trying to be prepared. It was a spur of the moment purchase thing.
