Has anyone heard of not getting a debit card in the mail from their bank, because the bank doesn’t allow it?
I heard that there is a barcode that is on envelopes containing debit cards; if it is first class mail, could it still be forwarded?
If you were moving and forwarded your mail, and your bank was sending you a new card in the mail (to your old address), via first class mail. I was told the bank would not allow for forwarding. USPS said it would get forwarded, bank said no.

APEX II Compsee with APEX Program Generator, problem getting information from bar codes into database.?
I am an IT person for a smaller company. They have me doing literally everything to do with electronics/computer repair/software/networking/programming you name it I’m on it pretty much. I have no idea about anything to do with bar code scanners. We have a APEX II Compsee and are using APEX Program Generator to upload the bar codes to the computer. This program is suppose to put the new information in a set database after it uploads the bar codes.
The problem is that when the program uploads, it looks like it does everything correct, but the information that it was suppose to gather is no where to be found. Any suggestions to fix this would be very sweet. Thanks.

I keep getting this scam at work.People call wanted to know my barcode on my copy machine.Why.?
I ask them what business they are calling from and they hang up.How does this scam work and what do they get out of it.
Best answer:
Probably going to send (and bill you for) a bunch of toner. You are smart to be curious. With the bar code information, they can make it look like you placed the order!

There is no ‘bar code’ on envelopes, but most cards come in an envelope stating ‘Postmaster: please do not forward”.
Some banks do refuse to send card by mail to avoid the risk of fraud.
