Does anyone know if it is ok to print a thermal white printable dvd on a inkjet printer?
My wife accidentally purchased thermal printable dvd-rs from a online site and they already shipped the package. I was wondering if the dvd will still turn out looking good if printed on a inkjet printer? I don’t think the site will work with me to correct this problem until I have received the item first. If anyone knows then please let me know. I wanna know if I can salvage this mistake. >.>;

Thermal transfer printing, thermal direct printing and inkjet printing: which one is cheapest in the long run?
Hi guys,
My old thermal direct printing fax machine just died (we just had the funeral, it was very sad..). Anyway, so now I want to buy a fax machine, but I can’t seem to find any machines like my old one! I’m going to have to throw away all my thermal paper!
So, what should I buy now? Which one is the most cost effective? Thermal transfer or inkjet? Or maybe laser?

How do you print inkjet waterproof labels?
I have an inkjet hp photo printer. I bought vinyl waterproof labels, i’ve tried it on every setting (normal, photo, less ink), and no matter what the black ink smears. The color seems fine. I’ll try letting it dry longer maybe. Tried researching it, they say to run water over it then dab it to get excess ink off. Black ink still smears when wet.

Please tell me how to print labels with ordinary inkjet printer?
I want to use B/W inkjet printer to print labels which contain some personal information in the place of expensive label printers. Is it possible to use a paper roll of 3 inch width on an ink jet printer? Any ink jet printer is available with auto cutter? Suggest any suitable software.

Where can you buy labels that you can print on using a inkjet printer?
Transparent labels like the ones on commercial products like shampoos, or salad dressing.
I think you can buy these labels and print on them using printer. But i’m not sure.

What is the difference between thermal printing and inkjet printing on to cds/dvds (easy 10 points)?
Do they both do the same thing or do the final products look different? Do you use printable cds/dvds for both of them?
