Hole in barcode on Ebay items?
Why would an item on ebay say in the description that the item may have a small hole or slash in the barcode. Would that be purposely put there. It doesn’t seem like randomly there would be a hole in a barcode or a slash through it. Why is this?

A small hole in a barcode wouldn’t keep a barcode reader from reading it, but it could flag to a Customer Service clerk that the item is not returnable. Exactly why the seller is warning buyers is an even murkier question.

What is the smallest size box I can ship items in with USPS?
I am an online seller and I have used my own boxes many times for orders so I didn’t have to charge my customers almost for a flat rate box or envelope. I have even used boxes that have UPC codes on the side and boxes from stores that had item numbers and quantities printed on them that I simply covered up with a sharpie marker and they had no problems with it. My question is, Is there a limit on size as far as how SMALL a box can be. I know they have limits as to how large boxes can be but I have an order to ship out that will fit a box that is only 8 inches long and 2 1/2 inches wide, and I have never used this small of a box before.
Will they allow me to use this size box or will they make be get a bigger box or use a small flat rate box? I do not want to go ahead and tape up this box and label it with addresses if the post office is just gonna tell me that it’s too small to ship. What’s the smallest sized box you ever shipped an item or order in that the post office (USPS) did not have a problem with? I did not see any information about smallest size limits on their website so please do not give me a link to their website as I have already searched the entire thing, and all I saw was largest size limits.

For the JCPenny rebates, it says one rebate per household… What if I bought multiple items with rebates?
Do I have to have each rebate mailed to a different house? I have the original UPC codes for all my purchases along with each original rebate form and rebate receipt.

Can counterfeit items be sealed?
I’m looking to buy a bluetooth headset on ebay, but i know there’s alot of counterfeit ones out there. If the package is sealed, and has a barcode, and is in retail packaging, could it still be counterfeit?

Help on rebate? have questions about proof of purchase items?
i know this is a way stupid question but lets make it snappy lol.
i have a rebate for a power supply i bought at zipzoomfly.com
i have already filled out the rebate form and signed it and everythnig but they are asking for other stuff like this:
Proof of purchase?
UPC code? i ordered it yesterday how do i find code? do i have to wait for it to get here?
receipt/invoice? what is the invoice? and is the receipt the email they mailed to me? or does it come with the package i have to wait for?
i just don’t want to send in stuff that’s not right and not get my stupid rebate…lol
if someone can answer these questions that would be great!

I was looking at a CD on amazon and i saw that on the used option many people said “Like new, hole in barcode” What is the purpose of punching a hole in the barcode? i should still buy the item right?

What tool is best to use in a Point of Sale Program, to desplay the captured Items?
