Please help. I am going to design a logo for my new company. What program will work best?

February 15th, 2011 at 08:51am Under Forum

Please help. I am going to design a logo for my new company. What program will work best?

I have Publisher 2000 so it needs to be able to work with that. The manufacturer uses Publisher. I am not a designer by any stretch of the imagination. Please help me find a program that will “design it for me”.

If you don’t mind, please keep the cost down. I’m starting a company and put most of the budget into manufacturing my formula. (I will spend up to for the right program.)

I am also going to design the label on the bottle. The manufacturer will fill in all the required supplement information. I just have to design the “pretty part” of the label. I have to put my logo on it and the product name. It has to look great. This is my one shot. I have an amazing product, but if the label doesn’t look good, no one will want it.

Thank you in advance for your attention to this very important matter. It really means a great deal to me.

Best answer:

The Google logo has been replaced by a barcode in order to celebrate the invention of the barcode by Norman Woodland and Bernard Silver in 1952.

Why doesn't Team Penske have the "Barcode" Marlboro logo like in F1?

Why doesn’t Team Penske have the “Barcode” Marlboro logo like in F1?

neo, the United States is one of those countries where tobacco advertising on racecars is prohibited. I realize the livery for the cars has remained the same, but I think the barcode would look cool on the sidepods instead of “Team Penske”

Best answer:

It’s probably because they already have the “Marloboro Mountain” on the car.

Why doesn't IndyCar's Team Penske have the "Barcode" Marlboro logo like Ferrari does in F1?

Why doesn’t IndyCar’s Team Penske have the “Barcode” Marlboro logo like Ferrari does in F1?
I know their livery is like the Marlboro liveries of old, but the barcode would look MUCH better on the sidepods, wings, etc, than “Team Penske”, imho.

Best answer:

I think that it’s because that the red and white chevron style paint scheme is so associated with the Marlboro brand that the name doesn’t need to be displayed or even implied in the paintwork for most people to know that the car is sponsored by Marlboro.
