how do you find out how much something costs by the barcode #?

how do you find out how much something costs by the barcode #?
well i was in school and my friend told me, and i absolutely forgot! i was wondering if anybody out there knows?! thanks =)

Best answer:

You can’t. The bar code is simply a number that identifies the product. Each store takes that numbmer and assigns a description and price. Every can of Del Monte Cream Corn has the exact same barcode, but the price is different at each store.

How much is this coin worth?

How much is this coin worth?
I don’t know much about coins and I’ll do my best to describe it to you.

It’s a 1886 Morgan Silver Dollar. It’s cased and it says PCGS on the very top and below it it says MS64.

Then below that there is a number which is 7166.64/4408753

Right below that number is the barcode. Is 7166 the value or something?

Best answer:

Well, it helps that you did a very good job of describing what you have. PCGS is a very reputable third party coin grader and MS-64 is Choice (better than normal) Uncirculated.

Here is a listing of 1886 silver dollars that grade MS-64 presently for sale on eBay. It looks like yours should retail in the – range:
coins.search.ebay.com/1886-MS-64_Dollars_W0QQcatrefZC6QQcoactionZcompareQQcoentrypageZsearchQQcopagenumZ1QQdfspZ2QQfgtpZQQfromZR2QQfsooZ2QQfsopZ2QQftrtZ1QQftrvZ1QQlopgZQQsabfmtsZ1QQsacatZ11975QQsaprchiZQQsaprcloZQQsatitleZ1886Q20MSQ2d64QQsbrftogZ1QQsofocusZbs

The 7166.64/4408753 is the serial number for the coin in the PCGS data base, nothing more.

Anyone else reading this should make note: If you have a coin like this, give us all the info you have on it. You will get a much better answer. This person did so, and I appreciate that. It makes preparing an answer much easier.

PROBLEMS! Barcode looking screen. Processer? Virus? I Provided much information?

PROBLEMS! Barcode looking screen. Processer? Virus? I Provided much information?
Ok so every now and then when i am on the computer my computer sometimes goes to a screen that looks like a barcode. i do not understand this and i have looked into it but have found nothing… so now i am asking you. My computer is a little over a year old so its not age. I have been told by other people that it sounds like things ranging from a loose wire to a file in my temp. internet files that is affecting my screen. I have looked into both things but have been unsuccessful. Please if you have any information about this or know how to fix it please alert me becuase im sick and tired of being in the middle of doing a paper and the laptop just freezes up and goes to a compleatly full barcode looking screen.
~ BTW the light at the bottom signaling that the processer is working (which is what i think that light means). You know the one that will flash on and off telling you that the computer is doing something… well that little light compleatly just shuts off and whatever i do it will not start back up untill i hard restart it.
Information=
Running Vista Home Premium
Continues Problem
Not a Blue screen it litterly looks like a Barcode. That is the best way i can decribe it… It has white and black lines all the way across the screen about 1/2 inches apart
I didnt install anything that i know of to harm my computer
~PLEASE HELP ME I HAVE SPENT HOURS OF MY LIFE TO SAVE THIS COMPUTER =(

Best answer:

Sounds like a video card issue.
