How do you know if a MS PRO DUO is original?
So here’s the deal. I had my Sony MagicGate High Speed 8GB for 7 months now when it suddenly bugged down just yesterday. It’s decrease in performance was gradual though not really that noticeable until it suddenly just gave out. Now I can’t almost access it, with a success ratio of 1:3 and even then it won’t play a game without hanging after the first 3 minutes.
I bought it as part of a package deal that if roughly converted will equals to 275$. I can’t tell if it’s a Class A (original) or Class B (fake) because I already threw the box a long time ago and whether how much it costs as a standalone, but this is what I can tell; it has a correct UPC (universal product code) of MSX-M8GS. Second line is 2800L8, and third line being CASC1000000. It even has this circle gold seal of being original and a blue sticker box that is usually used for warranty purposes. And another seal that I cannot see. And it says it’s made in Japan or somewhere since I could only see the last letter which is N, so it can’t be China right? And the box has a manual (I can’t remember if it was multilingual) and only the card itself inside.
So what, is it an original or a fake? I used BlackSpeed v.2 to determine it’s speed just now and discovered it only has a 172 Index rating (which seems to be standard Class A from my research), a far outcry from the average 350+ minimum (I suppose; what I saw is 371) Index rating that it’s supposed to have. If it already has that many seals to certify it is an ORIGINAL which I see it now as NOT (the transfer rate won’t even go higher than 3MB and standard is 1.75MB). What is the true signs of it being an original? Is it even supposed to have those seals because the way I see it might have been tampering job. And 7 months, come on! Is it only really supposed to last that long I swear I couldnt have even made use of more than a thousand flashes of read and write. Which brings me to ask; what is the lifespan of an original? And what does the box looks like? Is the manual multilingual? Does it suppose to come in with anything else? Please I need an answer, I don’t want to go spending money for a MS every 7 months. And it’s not as simple as going to a certified Sony store, those are few and far in between in my place and even legit stores here whose main products are Class B still carries Class A(s) with them.
Sorry for the very long rant. But I hope you understand my position.
Any help will be deeply appreciated.
I can’t see the words Magic Gate said anywhere more so the word “supported”. In GAME, there are only: Title; Parental Control; Updated; and Size displayed. Does this mean it is a fake?

What is the name of the original song wich I know by the name “flute-barcode brothers”?
Is there an original, its name and artist and anything but remix… thanks
Best answer:
The original song featuring the tin whistle (or penny whistle) is an old folk Danish song, but the rest is purely Barcode Brothers, and the song is originally theirs.

Is there any way to obtain a UPC/EAN/Serial Number barcode label if you lost the original?
I need it as a proof-of-purchase for a rebate. I know its a stretch and I’m probably going to get no for an answer, but for 0, its worth asking.
Best answer:
that’s the whole point of the barcode/label to prove that you bought it. They aren’t going to give you another one. I worked retail for 8 years, mostly in electronics. there’s no telling how many angry customers I had to deal with on this. It’s hard to tell them it’s their fault for losing their proof of purchase. Sorry. Seems you will lose your rebate.

What’s the most powerful sci-fi/fantasy weapon you can think of?(must make some sense, original ideas welcome)?
PLEASE SPECIFY WHICH OF THESE 8 CATEGORIES THE WEAPON BELONGS IN.
You don’t have to top my examples.
If anyone knows the names of any of the unnamed books I have mentioned please tell me.
CATEGORY 1: MAGICAL/MYSTICAL (must be usable by individuals without magical powers)
EXAMPLE; Wonder woman’s lasso of truth.
CATEGORY 2:MELEE
Example Light Saber
CATEGORY 3: WAR MACHINES/WEAPONS PLATFORMS
EXAMPLES; The Iron Giant Appeared in movie of same name, and was unstoppable by cold-war tachnology, exept the atomic bomb, (but even then it repaired itself afterwards).
BOLOs
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bolo_(tank)
CATEGORY 4 LONG-RANGE:
EXAMPLES; a futuristic gun that was never named in a sci-fi book that could make its own bullets from raw materials including ones that resembled swarms of tiny beetles that sought out thier targets by dna planet-wide, had auto-targeting systems with an advanced 360 degree scanner that made it impossible to surprise the user even in his sleep.
and an ai interface that knew and taught advanced military strategy, This gun was smuggled onto a war-torn plant where it fell into the hands of a homeless boy, who proceeded to use it to literally take over that planet.
A ship-mounted cannon mentioned in a sci-fi book that I have forgotten the name of that used a combination of magnetism and artificial gravity to accelerate metallic projectiles to light speed resulting in an almost complete mass-to energy conversion on impact with target.
CATEGORY 5, OTHER: EXAMPLES
Green Lantern’s Ring, Silver surfer’s surfboard, Cerebro (from X-men)
CATEGORY 6 MASS DESTRUCTION: EXAMPLES
A satellite laser cannon from “The New Adventures of Superman” that could reduce targets of unspecified maximum size to ashes (the man who created it planned to destroy West Virginia, but his more moderate accomplice suggested Antarctica)
An original idea of my own of twin laser-like beams that converge on a single point, from which would grow a sphere that can be a few feet to several hundred miles wide and neutralizes the molecular bonds of anything caught within that sphere, thus reducing everything within that sphere to it’s component elements, with no explosions or collateral damage. called the molecular disruptor (please suggest better names)
CATEGORY 7: SUPER MASS DESTRUCTION EXAMPLES
Death Star, de-planetizer (from Ratchet&Clank),Drej Mothership (from TITAN A.E.)
CATEGORY 8 ULTIMATE MASS DESTRUCTION:
EXAMPLES
A mathematical formula developed in a sci-fi book that I have forgotten the name of originally developed to re-stabilize a star that also demonstrated how a series of specifically timed laser cannon strikes on any stable star could artificially trigger that star to go nova and strerilize a sphere several light-years wide.
A device from another forgotten sci-fi book that neutralized gravity on any object, some terrorists in that book threatened to use it on a star, thus cancelling the balance that keeps a star from exploding and releasing all of its stored energy of a million year period at once, a character in the book said it would sterilize everything within a spherical 200 light-year radius.
An original idea of my own from a NOVA program on hypernovas which occur when a star larger than the ones that make supernovas explode, these stars begin the normal explosion phese of a supernaova but during the contraction phase which makes a black hole, the gamma energy is focused into two concentrated beams by the intense gravitational forces of this contraction.
According to NOVA, these beams would concentrate all the radiation of the star explosion into two laser-like beams at opposite poles of the contracting blackhole that has an effective range of several thousand light years and can sterilize any solarsystems caught in the beam’s path,THIS IS WHAT SCIENTISTS BELIEVE TO BE A FACT!!! My idea is simply this,
what if an extremely advanced alien race could artificially trigger and aim hypernovae?
Another original idea and THE MOST POWERFUL WEAPON I CAN THINK OF:An extremely advanced gravity inversion device that can temporarily alter gravity from an attractive force to a fluctuating attractive/repulsive force aimed at the super massive black hole that most scientists believe to be at the center of every galaxy. This would result in a spreading shock wave of opposing gravitational forces that would tear apart stars and planets in the innermost sections of said galaxy, mid-way out from the center, the gravitational forces would be strong enough to trigger most of the stars in that reigon to go nova, vaporizing any planets orbiting those stars, in the outer portions of the main galactic body, severe fluctuations in radiation output of many stars would be triggered sterilizing most planets, the gravitational forces would also strip those star systems of thier respective planets, making any planets that were not sterilized totally uninhabitable. Finally, in the out

Well, it depends on your definition of “makes some sense.” :-)
The most powerful weapon I’ve ever come across is from the anime Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, which can throw galaxies as weapons. Given enough energy, I suppose that’s theoretically possible.
The most powerful weapon I can think of besides that is the “category 8″ Black Hole Cannon from Space Runaway Ideon. It basically generates a black hole in front of the weapon, with an energy shield between the weapon and the black hole, creating a kind of directed funnel.

How can I know product original country by reading bar code digits on its package?
Is there site address indicating list(s) of bar code digits regarding each country ?
Best answer:
Radio Shack has a product you can hook up to your computer that scans barcodes and sends you to the manufacturers web page.
