Best answer:
To do that you’d need to scan in and store the “No” then in another cell, you need to COPY the data and format it with a BARCODE font
U need to know WHAT format the barcode is . . as there are various ones.

Is there a website that I can type a barcode into and it will tell me what the product is and how much it was?
Best answer:
No…you may be able to Google some UPC labels, but the actual product/price/etc. are programmed locally at each store. You may have one product that 5 different stores are selling, but are all different prices. Factor in special promotions or sales and you can see why they would all be different and the need to program the UPCs locally.

what was the first product to have a barcode on its label?
Best answer:
In June 1974, one of the first UPC scanner, made by NCR Corp. (which was then called National Cash Register Co), was installed at Marsh’s supermarket in Troy, Ohio. On June 26, 1974, the first product with a bar code was scanned at a check-out counter. It was a 10-pack of Wrigley’s Juicy Fruit chewing gum. The pack of gum wasn’t specially designated to be the first scanned product. It just happened to be the first item lifted from the cart by a shopper whose name is long since lost to history. Today, the pack of gum is on display at the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of American History.

What with all the bilingual product labels now, do you think non-English speaking residents could learn some?
While Conseula is reading about the perils of ring-around-the-collar or waxy yellow build up, she could also be learning some conversational English!

Looking for a new design for a beauty product line?
I’m helping my girlfriend get a jump-start on her own skin and body product line. She’s sketched a few designs of her logo and is close to deciding what she wants. Is there some way she could get professional-looking stickers, labels, etc. for her products?
