How will I make my Barcode scanner work with my laptop?
I have PS/2 compatible Barcode Scanner (BIRCH CD-108eB) which gracefully works with a desktop computer. Now, when i am testing it with my laptop using a usb to ps2 adoptor, nothing happens. It seems it cannot read input since my laptop has built in keyboard and has no PS/2 port. What am I missing here?
Please help.

How do I download a program so that my scanner (Canon CanoScan Lide 70) will work?
actually, I think my friend accidentally deleted the scanner program and now my scanner doesn’t work.
how do I make it work? am I supposed to download a program from the Canon website or something, or do I need the hard disk.
I think the scanner previously had two programs, one of which has been deleted. the other is Presto! PageManager 7 which I still have.

Does anybody know the brand of barcode scanner ups is using?
This is a random question but I want a scanner similar to what the delivery guys have. Something that can scan stuff, allow for signing etc. I want to know what scanner the ups guys are using does anybody know? I doubt it’s something they developed in house it’s more than likely a commercial product you could buy from some company.

How can I change the setting on a hand scanner from automatic “ENTER” to automatic “TAB” in microsoft Excel?
When I scan a barcode with a hand scanner in Excel, it does an automatic “ENTER” and goes down a cell. I’ve used this same scanner and it’s done “TAB” and moved to the right after data has been scanned. I can’t figure out how to switch them back and forth for different tasks.
Please Help!

Radio Scanner Police Codes?
Can anybody forward me to a page for Luzerne/Lackawanna Counties that has the cities’ corresponding codes for police/fire use? For example, Pittston City’s code is 66 or six-six, and there is a number after such as “six six . five” Meaning Pittston City car 5. Can anyone tell me the codes for Wilkes-Barre, Exeter, West Pittston, Duryea, Hughestown, Pittston Twp., Jenkins Twp., Avoca, Laflin, Scranton, Dunmore, Moosic and Old Forge. I think DuPont’s is 25.

Is there a driver for my Windows 7 PC that’s compatible with my Canon scanner?
Last week I bought a new Compaq PC with Windows 7 and a dual-core AMD Athlon II processor. Then I found out that my Canon CanoScan N670U scanner is not compatible with my new PC. Is there a driver that makes my scanner “fit” with my new PC?
