What is the barcode scanning thing for smartphones?
Just wondering what is that thing where you can scan the weird barcode thing with your smartphone and it’s supposed to mean something? Also is there an app for iPhone to scan it?

How to get off the barcode scanning screen on my blackberry bold?
I just got the blackberry bold from verizon and i wanted to scan someones barcode for BBM but i couldn’t find the barcode and now my phone is stuck trying to scan nothing! how do i get off the screen? i tried clicking the end button but it wont work! Or better how do i get the battery out?

I need help in excel for barcode scanning?
I use excel to scan in inventory starting with the product number then the serial number. Instead of all the barcodes being scanned into one column, I want to know if there is a way to get excel to take the first scanned item and assign it to one column and take the next item and assign it to the next column.
For example Instead of scanning this way
product 1
serial 1
product 2
serial 2
product 3
serial 3
I would like excel to scan this way
product 1 serial 1
product 2 serial 2
product 3 serial 3

What is the legality of 3d scanning?
What can i do and not do using a 3d scanner.
I assume if i wanted to I could scan someones batman figurine, but could i make a “batman movie” out of it?
Could i make a knockoff using their figureine scanned model?
Is there any reason using the scan of anything comerically is illegal in the united states?
I’m just worried because a 3d scanner would be pretty useless if you couldn’t use the scans of anything commercially.

How do I get my PDA to scan bar codes into pocket excel while I’m scanning into another program?
I use a Dell Axim x5 with a scanner attached to scan the bar codes of books in order to find out their prices on the net. I would like to get a listing of each bar code scanned in pocket excel without having to scan each bar code twice.

What is some excellent OCR software for scanning text into Word?
I would like to scan some of my short stories into Word but my scanner does a lousy job with OCR. It scrambles text and sometimes I can’t even remove the glitches! (Puzzling and frustrating.)
I need to be able to edit the scanned text.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
