Is it possible to read a upc barcode from the screen of a device like the kindle? Cell Phone?
With the popularity of coupons, and the pervasiveness of hand-held devices being carried about now-a-days, it would be nice to be able to carry around coupons that could be used without being printed out. I know most places keep coupons, but with expiration dates, and managements knowledge of their own coupons it could work. Will it read though?

Why does my cursor turn into a barcode and highlight a strip across the screen?
I am using a co-worker’s computer and when the mouse is resting in an area where there is no hyperlink, it will turn into a barcode-like square. My coworker says she has seen this before, but doesn’t know what it is. It makes it difficult to click in the correct area, does anyone know what this is all about?

Probably one of those third-party cursor programs or a virus. Try checking the add/remove programs section and see if you find anything that has the word cursor in it (like cursor magic, or smart cursor, etc). If you find something that looks like a match, search the internet to see if you can find more details on the program to help you decide if you should remove it or not.
If you don’t find something in add/remove programs, then check out the programs in startup (use MSCONFIG or similar tools).
Also be sure to do a system restore prior to making an changes to your co-workers computer.

How come when I try to enter cheat codes for sims3 my screen goes away?
How do I get the cheat code bar to come up? When I hit Ctrl Alt C – the screen pops away and I get my ATI settings pop-up. I entered cheat codes when I first got the game, but now I cannot.

what are barcodes values? what do you see on screen while pressing the barcode reader button?
when you press the button of a barcode reader what is wriiten on the screen? i mean some numbers or something else?

The barcode reading device “reads” the widht of the lines and converts to values depending on the code, machine, definition, etc. regularly these are used to fill fields on a database, such as item number and other properties of the item.

I have a problem with my computer monitor and keep getting bar codes all over the screen.?
Everytime I go on the internet hundreds of little bar codes come upin columns and keep flashing…other times my PC screen is clear.

it sounds like a virus try using another monitor to see if its the monitor if not then format it
