My xbox 360 has 2 different serial numbers on the front and back.?
The serial numbers on the back above barcode and where the controller plugs in are different. It’s never been sent in for repairs. Any ideas why this might be or do others have this aswell? I ask because mine recently got the red lights of doom and i wanna send it in but they might say i have 2 different serial numbers.

UPC/ serial code questions?
ok let me get this straight.. UPC numbers are used to identify a product, so if i buy two of the exact same product, they will have the same upc code. isbn is pretty much the same thing, but used for books, and issn is for magazines? and then serial numbers are different on every single product to help with loss prevention and for registering a product… is that right? are there any other codes?

okay some asshole stole my ipod so all i have left is the quick start and product information do any of them have the serial number on it?
idk if the ipods registered so i have this quick start paper and it has these numbers would that be the serial number

C or C++ program to read data from serial port?
hello
i need a c or c++ program to read data from serial port connected to sick pls laser scanner.model is 200-113.
I have tried several programs in vc++,c,c++ but no one is able to read data serial port.
In one program i am getting msg
xxx.exe:MFC42D.dll:0xc000000: Access violation
When debugged i get
No matching symbol found :kernel32.dll
user32.dll
msvcrt60.dll
and so on.
And finally i get the program ends witih 0×0 code.
in another program it is saying bios.h not found
Whiel in anotehr it says could not able to find outportb()
I dont know the problem is.
But i need one program for this special case ie reading data from serial port connected to sick pls 200-114 laser scanner.
Eagerly waiting for answer
.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Where is the serial number located?
I bought a video editing software and I can’t figure out where the serial number is located. Is it located on the barcode? Is it located in the User’s manual or what?

It may be on the back of the cd case, or on the back of the manual… just look for a number in the corner or on a sticker.

LDS only, Why do we have to get serial barcodes on our recommends now? Tracking Temple attendance?
I can think of a few reasons why Heavenly Father might’ve inspired the prophet to implement this change, but I wanted to get some of your input.

There are approximately, by some estimates 8,000 stolen recommends each year that fall in to the wrong hands. There have been several offered on e-bay for sale. The church determined it was just a good idea to have a better system to cancel a recommend when it is stolen. As the bar code will be on record, if you loose your purse and need to replace ;your recommend, the local authoity can notify the right people and then if your recommend shows up trying to be used, well it will not let that person in. A good idea, right. There are people who have lost membership and or belong to organizations who crave the temple experience who might not be what the Lord wants. Its just a matter of security. Hopefully you understand better now.
