I’m looking for a small bar code inventory system for a beauty salon.?
The ones that I’ve looked at are huge. Includes way more features than I’d ever use. Simple, enter the product when I receive it and enter how many I want to keep on hand, substract it when we sell it and tell me when I need to order more. Would be nice if each person had a number so I could keep track of and print out what they sold at the end of the month. Ideas?

What is the best POS System for small retail store?
I work for a small retail store. Currently, all items are entered into the register the old fashioned way by manually typing in the price and a product category button. Nothing in the store has barcodes/upc codes. We’d like to modernize and get a POS System. What all is involved in converting to a POS System? How do you create, assign and print barcodes to products so that they will work with the POS System? In your experience what are the best/worst POS Systems and Software on the market for a retail store?

why do we use the dewey decimal system as opposed to simply labeling books by section and author?
My library has 2 sections fiction and nonfiction and there’s no alphabetical system. Whenever I’m looking for a book I have to go to the back of are library and get somebody to look it up.Why is this convenient?Why can’t they just arrange by section and save everybody some time?

How Well Is Your Labeling System Working?
I’ve changed my system for labeling home-made freezer meals.
I used to carefully note in large clear letters, “Meatloaf” or “Pot Roast” or “Steak and Vegetables or “Chicken and Dumplings” or “Beef Pot Pie.”
However, I used to get very frustrated when I asked my husband what he wanted for dinner, because he never asked for any of those things. So, I decided to stock the freezer with what he really likes.
If you look in my freezer now you’ll see a whole new set of labels. You’ll find dinners with neat, legible tags that say: “Whatever,” “Anything,” “I Don’t Know,” “I Don’t Care,” “Something Good,” or “Food.”
My frustration is reduced because no matter what my husband replies when I ask him what he wants for dinner, I know that it will be there waiting.

i want a new jersey labeling system. it’s an old machie with a 20ft flat belt and a glue roller on the end
i am looking for an old new jersey labeling machine. it’s hand rolled. has a 20 foot flat belt with a glue roller on the end. it’s not any automatic machine! it’s operated by a person standing there and rolling the labels onto a paper tube. does anyone know where i can find one? it would be appreciated.
