Can anyone tell me the text on the back cover of Specials by Scott Westerfeld?
I just borrowed Pretties and Specials from a library, and I have a habit of reading the preview text on the back. Problem is, on Specials, a good amount of the text is covered by the Library’s barcode. Can anyone tell me what the text says?

CD labeling software with fancy text and transparency?
I need a CD labeling software that can do the following:
Able to make some fancy text ( arcs, shadows, outlines etc. )
Image Layering
supports PNG images ( I need to import images that has transparency information )
If the printing is misaligned, the software should have a feature that wil allow me to align it on the printable sticker.
I’m using Acoustica CD/DVD Label Maker 3.17, it just falls a bit short with the fancy text. I need to have the text with a color outline of some sort or shadow, as some of my design tends to blend with the text color, making it hard to see.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

How to make a button with multiple lines of text in Visual Studio?
I’m trying to create a clickable area that has multiple lines of text. A button would be perfect, but apparently the button only displays the first line of its Text field. Are there any other options? I tried putting labels on top of the button, but when you click a label the button is not pressed. I tried to put the button on top of the labels and make it transparent, but the labels don’t show through.
This is for a smart device application (windows mobile 6).

How do I make the background of desktop icon text transparent?
Open System Properties in Control Panel, choose the Advanced tab,
and click Settings in the Performance section.
Turn on the Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop option, and click Ok.
DID NOT WORK!!!!
I have been at this for about a year on my laptop.
Someone plezzzzz help me with this!

Sticker Printing problem, need solution to print variable text on stickers.?
Hello friends!
I want professional looking stickers/labels, (which means ordering them from a professional place), but I need the ability to print variable black text on these stickers.
What is the best way to do this? I can’t find a thermal transfer printer that accepts one label at a time…
Is there a way to do it with a laser printer?

What is some excellent OCR software for scanning text into Word?
I would like to scan some of my short stories into Word but my scanner does a lousy job with OCR. It scrambles text and sometimes I can’t even remove the glitches! (Puzzling and frustrating.)
I need to be able to edit the scanned text.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
