I’m always having a hard time determining what costs should be inventory versus COGS.?

From what I understand, materials that you purchase for resale are classified as inventory but how about shipping labels, packaging materials, etc. Can someone please help me understand the difference?

Does the Trust Bluetooth dongle support multiple devices at the same time?

Does the Trust Bluetooth dongle support multiple devices at the same time?

Does the Trust Ultra Small Bluetooth 2.1 USB Adapter – 25 m (Item number: 16008 – EAN-code: 8713439160086) support multiple devices at the same time? Example: Bluetooth mouse and bluetooth speakers.

If so, do all bluetooth dongles support multiple devices or is this a new technology only used by some brands?

Printer help please – long time to start.?

Printer help please – long time to start.?
Hi. I have a Epson – Stylus NX515 Wireless Multifunction Printer/ Copier/ Scanner. It is very fast, in both color and b&w. But my problem is it takes forever to start up. I literally pressed print, and it kept humming for five minutes. Like it was warming up. Why is it doing this? Should I print a page a day to keep it awake? It literally did nothing for those five minutes, and just decided to cancel.

Best answer:

Most inkjet printers require a startup sequence to initialize the printer, which can include a printer diagnostic to make sure the printer is working and everything checks out before proceeding, checking and cleaning the printheads (the time can vary depending on how long since the printer was last used and how it checks the printheads and ink), and processing the incoming data.

So if you plan to use it, you may want to print a quick and simple page, with very little data on it to preserve ink, before trying to print what you want.

Best of luck.

Why does my HP Photosmart C4795 take a long time to print wirelessly?

Why does my HP Photosmart C4795 take a long time to print wirelessly?
I have an HP Photosmart C4795 wireless printer/scanner/copier. When I choose to print using the wireless feature, it generally takes anywhere from 5-10 minutes for the document to begin printing. Could there be an issue with the wireless router that I’m using (for now, I have a Belkin G Wireless Router)? Or, could this be the result of an improper setup? I have printed documents (and even a picture) wirelessly and it works fine, but the waiting time before the actual printing begins is what makes it almost not worth the wait.

Best answer:

Wireless Printing takes a long time because it is sending that data slower then if it is hard wired and if you only have G-router it is slower and for faster performance you need an N-router other then that its normal

I wind up behind one of the few people on the planet that cannot operate a bar code scanner. How impaired must one be to screw up this rudimentary maneuver?

Having the hardest time choosing an all-on-one printer?

Having the hardest time choosing an all-on-one printer?
I need this for a small office and need a copier, scanner, printer, wireless, and preferably duplexer. Color is not necessary. The HP line seems to have gone way down hill (reviews are not very good at all), Canon’s seem to gulp ink (economy is important to me), and I have not had luck with my current Brother which has had major problems practically since I bought it. Lexmark/Dell doesn’t get good reviews either. I am looking in the 0-0 range. Any suggestions?

Best answer:

In that range, are there any laser all in ones rather than inkjet as they will be more economical on toner?

Can you recommend a scanner that will scan multiple pages at a time and put in one pdf document?

Can you recommend a scanner that will scan multiple pages at a time and put in one pdf document?
I’m trying to find an all-in-one wireless printer…. I’ve read all sorts of specs on each one, but none of them say if they scan multiple pages at once. Is this standard now? Do they nearly all do this?

Best answer:

for combining multiple scanned files to 1 PDF , u can try Foxonic, a powerful PDF tool.

2 steps to convert scanned document to PDF with Foxonic:

(1) click “settings” -> Set building mode to “All to One” and set destination PDF file name, location.

(2) Select all the scanned files and right click the selected source files, a menu will popup, click “Build selected files to PDF”, then all the selected files will be converted to destination PDF file automatically.

u can download and try it for free:
