Is there software that will recognize any upc/barcode and enter the information into inventory?
I am purchasing many items on eBay for sale later in a brick and mortar store. I want to enter these items into inventory but there are so many, over 1000 items, that it would take me weeks to enter these. I have the barcode reader and started using it, realizing I would be at it for a long, long time. I want some software that will read the barcode of item, and enter all info into the pc. Info needed to enter is: Barcode, item description, item code etc.
…then I wonder, guin_grl, if I could use microsoft access or excel, and create my own inventory that way. Because, I believe, those two programs do use barcode technology.
